What we are doing to keep you and our staff safe during this unpredictable time.
Here at Withers Dental we already pride ourselves with following very high Standard precautions with our infection control in accordance with the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the National Safety & Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards. Therefore, as well as our normal Standard precautions we have also been very diligent with Transmission-based precautions particularly Contact and Droplet precautions during this time.
As a patient you will have a slightly different experience to your usual appointments, what you can expect:
Please wait in your car and call us upon arrival. One of our friendly staff will let you know when we are ready. 
One of lovely nurses will guide you into the Practice and ask you to wash your hands prior to your appointment. 
Your clinician will kindly ask you to perform a thorough mouth gargle prior to your appointment. 
We kindly ask all patients to respect our requested distancing measures and observe the appropriate cough etiquette in place.
We also ask for all patients to attend their appointments individually, if your child cannot attend their appointment alone we ask that only one parent be present. Patients will not have access to our normal reception area and will not be able to use the reception waiting areas during their visit.
We have also restricted the amount of appointments we are able to see each day, this is to allow adequate time for thorough disinfection of all surfaces and to avoid over-crowding our Practice at any given time.
The Dental Board of Australia and ADA have approved Dental Practices to be seeing all patients under their recommended Level 1 guidelines.
We are now seeing both new and existing patients for ALL routine, cosmetic, orthodontic and emergency appointments as well as so much more!
We apologise for any inconvenience these restrictions have caused but we wish to keep our patients, staff and whole community as safe as possible.
